but it seems that my world is now falling apart
the love that once burned is now a dead flame
things change fast, though i wish they'd stay the same
my hearts is quite heavy, my burden is great
there's nothing i can do to escape this fate

I like this one, but there seems to be a slight error in the next to last line: you put an "s" on "heart," making it plural. Still, great poem.
